Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Sustainable finance is a vision of finance based on environmental, social and governance sustainability, and concerns the business models of financial intermediaries such as the products and services offered. It stands as the junction for bringing the financial system back to support the needs of productive growth and for favoring an economic transformation to ensure a future for life on the planet. These reflections combine well with the Social Doctrine of the Church, which highlights the need for sustainable and integral human development, and which underlines the close link between environmental issues and social equity, highlighting how care for the environment goes hand in hand with care for men, their well-being, their rights and their dignity.
