Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the two parts of the work, the author analyzes the profiles concerning the criteria for ascertaining parenthood and some questions concerning the relationship of parentage in the European legal culture. The paper also takes into account the issues raised by biotechnology and other characteristics of a complex and pluralistic society, including those related to educational choices in the school environment and those concerning health and the problem of the presence of parents.
