Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The memory of Don Lorenzo Milani's educational work was transmitted and reworked in Italy also through three biopics. The most recent and best known is the fiction "Don Milani. The prior of Barbiana" (1997) by Andrea and Antonio Frazzi. The article reconstructs the context in which the two
episodes of the television miniseries were produced and he critically analyzes the image they convey of the school of don Milani, suggesting some interpretative reflections.
