[Autom. eng. transl.] The research The Family at the time of COVID19, conducted by a group of psycho-social researchers of the University Center for Family Studies and Research of the Catholic University of Milan, together with the Human Highway company, is a research carried out in two phases: the first ended at the beginning of April 2020, the second will be carried out after the end of the lockdown period, when social and economic activities will begin to resume. The research involved 3,000 people in Italy aged between 18 and 85, representative of that large segment of the population (about 40 million Italians) who have access to the internet at least once a week. The interviewees responded to an online questionnaire between March 30 and April 7, a period in which the pandemic in Italy was at its peak in terms of spread of the infection. From the first data processed, the profile of a family suspended between stress and opportunity clearly emerges, which must face various difficulties that risk overwhelming it, but which at the same time shows an ability to activate resources internally to orient and transform changes in a positive sense addressed.
