[Autom. eng. transl.] The theme is for many reasons of great interest, both from a cultural and pedagogical point of view and allows us to deal with the great changes that have affected Western society in the last forty years, focusing on women and the revision of their identity. Furthermore, in consideration of the clear female prevalence among those who regularly practice physical activity, it suggests to "invest" with conviction on women in sport also in order to meet the challenge of the "educational emergency". Reflecting on the link between women and sport is therefore strategic and deserves all the attention possible.
