Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The era in which we live is dictated by a complexity of the economic system that has revolutionized work contexts, especially with regard to human resources and the professional identity of male and female workers. In this scenario, the issue of diversity has become central, so much so that Diversity Management has become widespread in Italy as a specific area for managing diversity in the workplace. The promotion of inclusion, the reduction of inequality and discrimination require, especially for managers, managers and HR managers, the development of specific skills. This book focuses on intercultural pedagogical competence as a primary reference for the effective development of Diversity Management in work contexts of any kind. The look of intercultural pedagogy, little known and widespread in work contexts, can bring new, different and innovative approaches to support the functions of managers and managers who have the delicate task of managing the plurality that characterizes today's work systems. Starting from empirical research, a critical analysis is developed to promote and disseminate the development of intercultural competence in support of the practice of Diversity Management.
This text is aimed at managers, HR managers, managers, trainers, business consultants, students to offer theories, models and strategies for the development of an intercultural competence that has an effective practical impact in Diversity Management and to create inclusive workplaces.
