Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The Commercial Revolution in the consumer goods sector is still showing its effects in the Italian market, since: (i) a trade-off of market shares from traditional sales outlets to modern free-service points is still underway ; (ii) the most innovative sales channels (such as the Internet channel) have not yet achieved a significant competitive position; (iii) the Organized Distribution (DO) groups maintained their leadership with respect to the large-scale distribution groups (GD), especially international ones
