Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution focuses on examining the provisions of the EC Treaty and the derivative acts on immigration and asylum in order to identify the problematic aspects that have prevented the realization of a true common policy on the matter. The study also focuses on the analysis of the relevant elements of the Lisbon Treaty and on how the new structure can overcome the problems encountered.
