Abstract

The study deals extensively with the evolution of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights, that progressively left wider room to the social dimension of conventional Rights pertaining house. The essay focuses on the complex issue of positive obligations construed in European Court's Case-Law, and on the wideness of States' "margin of appreciation" to this regard and in the field of social policy.
