Abstract
The African diaspora to the West is a complex phenomenon driven by structural and \r\nrelational/value-based factors. This entry examines causes and impacts on countries of origin \r\nand destination: benefits for hosts, costs for those losing talent. In ecclesial dialogue, African \r\nChurches denounce brain drain and affirm the right not to migrate, while Western Churches \r\npromote hospitality. The conclusions call for shared responsibility and the right to a dignified \r\nfuture at home.
