Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article outlines the important evolutions of the religious center which became an autonomous parish in 1568 by decision of the bishop of Novara, Giovanni Antonio Cardinal Serbelloni. However, the history of the ecclesiastical institution also spans the medieval period when San Martino was a simple foundation dependent on the parish church of San Vittore.
