Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The repetition of some fundamental concepts within language courses, sometimes perceived by students as redundancy, however, finds its reasons in the dynamics of learning.
Two open questions asking to define the concept of 'text' and describe its characteristics were addressed to German students of the Degree in Languages and Communication. The short questionnaire made it possible to verify to what extent this basic notion has actually settled in the learners and then formulated some didactic-methodological considerations aimed at favoring the assimilation of theoretical linguistic contents.
