Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The VIII Forum of the Cultural Project of the CEI, from the theme "Reason, the sciences and the future of civilizations" (Rome 2-3.3.2007), continued and further articulated the reflection on the future, which had served as a common thread of the previous appointments. In particular, with respect to the VII Forum, more focused on our country, it has widened its gaze to the world scenario. The problematic node recalled by the title brings together three very important questions, posed by Benedict XVI at the center of his own magisterium: the relationship between reason and faith, the role of science in culture, the confrontation between civilizations.
