Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the article we want to understand the cultural and social processes that are upstream, not so much of the increase in malaise factors and violence, as of our perception of them. Violence has invaded our information field and therefore, beyond the statistical data, we feel immersed in a collective negative spirit, which then reverberates on our way of reacting and communicating. Even in school, we are no longer able to distinguish severity from violence and this affects the sense of security and the likelihood of becoming, or training, fragile individuals. There is therefore a need to better cultivate the guarantee function that is exercised by the institutions (school, family, services, etc.) to protect the collective need to have limits, to learn the measure of things, and to protect the individual from the " disorder". Unfortunately, the current phase, in which citizens do not believe or trust institutions, is the bearer of a dangerous loop, which leads to the negative cycle of misunderstanding-mythologization-resentment. The author analyzes these mechanisms in detail (especially the loss of authority and competence as institutional principles of entrustment) and suggests some directions of intervention to neutralize them and get out of the vicious circle.
