Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] What is the correct relationship between conscience and moral norms? Are they two opposite poles? Can consciousness set exceptions? To address the issue, the article investigates the nature of practical inventive reason and consciousness itself (of which it examines some problematic conceptions), focusing its relationship with norms. These are aimed at the flowering of the person and the summit of morality lies in the exercise of virtues, declined as strategies of love. The outcome of the course is that the conscience can yes (sometimes) sanction the non-observance of the relative moral norms, but not of the absolute negative ones, because the latter attest to the evils of that subject whose conscience has the task of being guardian , beacon and support: if it encourages such evils it fails its task, damaging the person in whom it is immanent. The conscience illuminated by the phronesis and the right norms are not opposed, but rather they are two wings that synergistically allow the person to reach the truth about the good of the same: the call to love. What is the proper relationship between conscience and moral norms? Are they two polar opposites? Can conscience establish exceptions? To address the issue, this article, focusing on the relationship with norms. These are the goals of the person who are flourishing and the summit of morality. The outcome of the article is that of conscience can (sometimes) establish the inobservance of relative moral rules, but not of moral absolutes, because the latter concerns the evils of that person with the task of being the guardian, the lighthouse and the support. If it is incentive such evils, it fails its task, damaging the person in which it is immanent. Conscience enlightened by phronesis and the right rules are not opposed, but are synergistically allowed.
