La Corte EDU condanna la Lituania per illecito trattamento dei dati sanitari e per violazione della libertà religiosa in danno di una paziente affetta da psicosi

[Autom. eng. transl.] With the ruling in comment the European Court of Human Rights condemned Lithuania for the violation of the art. 8 and 9 of the ECHR attributable to the medical staff of the Vilnius psychiatric hospital. In particular, the Strasbourg judges considered both the communication of sensitive data, as inherent to the health conditions and the applicant's religious faith, journalists and her mother without her consent, and the therapeutic methods used against him, because they are detrimental to his religious freedom and not justified, as required by Lithuanian law, by the need to avoid aggressive or self-injurious behavior.
