This is why telling the Giro also means telling the story of the last century of our country. Two scholars do this in this book who, starting from the most disparate sources, tell the protagonists of the epic of the Giro and the events of our country, from Binda to Girardengo, from Giolitti to Mussolini, from the mythical Coppi and Bartali to Eddy Merckx, from De Gasperi and Togliatti up to Pantani and Nibali, Berlusconi and Renzi.
