Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper examines the system of abbreviations that goes from the world of the manuscript to that of the printed book. The repercussions on the printing technique, on the founding of the characters and on the composition of the letterpress case can be deduced from the analytical observation of the products of the workshops of the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries according to the canons of the analytical Bibliography of Anglo-Saxon matrix.
