[Autom. eng. transl.] The current labor market, characterized by complexity and instability, makes it increasingly difficult, and at the same time important, to make training and work choices that prove useful over time. Today's workers are required to manage their careers which are rarely owned and, for which, there are few training opportunities. At the same time, the world of career consultancy is asked today to rethink its objectives, its methods and tools and the skills of its professionals, in order to guarantee the possibility of intervening effectively on the increasingly jagged and unpredictable professional paths. The chapter applies Social Cognitive Career Theory and the concept of Career management skills to the target of migrants.
