Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Bibliographic indications on the study of the brotherhoods, followed by an in-depth analysis of the sources of the Aronese religious institution, preserved in the Parish Archive. The confraternity events can be well followed starting from 1603, the year of the pastoral visit of Archbishop Federico Borromeo, which imposed on the confreres the keeping of a register of income and expenses.
