Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay reconstructs the fundamental lines of the municipal administration in Milan in the passage between the two centuries, with reference to the role of "moral capital" that the city began to elaborate, and in the transition to fascism, highlighting the failure of the ruling class of the party and its replacement with podestà members of the city's aristocracy.
