Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The outfit of a childish burial found during the excavation of Via Picchi consisted of a glazed ceramic bottle, which can be assigned based on the few comparisons available. At the 7th century The specific function of containers of this type, normally intended for wayfarers, may have favored an eschatological suggestion and been deposed to accompany the young deceased on the otherworldly journey.
