Abstract
With the invention of printing, first editions of some book or section of the Hebrew Bible appeared. In particular, the activity of the Soncino stands out, a Jewish family from the Rhineland who, after moving to Italy, in Soncino (CR), opened a printing shop, and on 22 April 1488 published the first complete edition of the Bible. This first was followed by three other editions of the Soncino, printed in the various cities to which they gradually transferred their activity, namely in Naples, Brescia and Pesaro. This study therefore presents the four editions of this Hebrew Bible, usually named with the surname assumed by these printers from the toponym in which they originally settled.
