Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The scientific itineraries of Karl Bühler and Agostino Gemelli strike by the chronological and biographical convergences that we will recall by situating them in the context of the time, because they are not without importance to grasp on the one hand their conception of psychology and on the other, their scientific and human understanding. The central question that will then be asked and to which we will try to answer is the following: for the two great scientists, was phonology an inevitable detour in order to grasp the essence and specificities of human language? We will also try to show how psychology and phonology can collaborate and participate in an approach to human communication that is deliberately multidisciplinary.
