Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay examines the editorial landscape of Kant's reception in Italy in the period from 1985 to 2017. The total of 410 editions of the work give the impression of an impressive editorial activity that focuses on Kant. Only the actual new translations (80 in number) were examined here, the paratexts of which were examined with regard to metalinguistic translational utterances. Thanks to the development of translation studies, translators (mostly philosophy lecturers) increasingly feel called to address the translational dimension of their work and to explicitly present their decisions and work strategies. The study offers an overview of the tendencies and characteristics of the various translations of Kant's works.
