Abstract

Five years have passed from the Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ publication: much has been achieved and much more remains to be done. “What is it we should do?”, the confused crowd ask to St. John Baptist; the question remains still open and asks for renewed answers. Covid-19 pandemic is producing an “educational catastrophe”, thus it is necessary an educational process aimed at an integral formation of consciences, in order to promote an authentic integral ecology, Pope Francis’ teaching essence. The document “Journeying towards care for our common home” is a roadmap towards ecological conversion, as its content involves directly educational processes. Moreover, it highlights the importance of catholic universities in tracing educational paths towards ecological conversion. The Catholic University of the Sacred Heart is intensely dealing with educational issues in line with the recommendations expressed in Laudato si’. Is it preparing to be a Laudato si’ University?
