Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] When everything returns to be like it never was then the imagination will finally coincide with reality, the lived will cease to be illusion to become real, even if it is now past: perhaps it is not yet too late. When everything returns to be like it has never been, it is a path of reconciliation with one's own past that the acclaimed German actor and playwright Joachim Meyerhoff (1967) has transformed into a novel reworking a long series of autobiographical theatrical pieces entitled Alle Toten fliegen hoch. Yes, because there is still much to understand in his personal history, a story in which "reality" has very little objective and in which the track of the so-called "normality" is only one among the innumerable and different tracks that run an elusive world "in itself". Joachim Meyerhoff grew up in Hesterberg, the largest regional psychiatric hospital in Schleswig-Holstein: his father was a child and adolescent psychiatrist, director of an imposing structure with up to fifteen hundred guests. Huge brick barracks in the center of which was the villa of the director.
