Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Jan Brokken (1949), journalist, traveler, Dutch writer, told in person his latest book recently published in Italian for Iperborea, Anime Baltiche, a novel / reportage through Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on the trail of famous people and people municipality that made and immediately the history of those countries. Hannah Arendt, Roman Gary, Jacques Lipchitz, Arvo Pärt, Gidon Kremer, Sergej zenjzenštejn and many others testify to the becoming of a world that for decades has risen from the ashes of past regimes, which has had the pride and strength to fight for their own culture.
