“Io parlo di noi” Le rappresentazioni mentali del bambino nella relazione col caregiver professionale

[Autom. eng. transl.] The socio-relational skills of children in pre-school and school age are often subject to evaluation by teachers and educators, according to whom the ability to establish and maintain adequate relationships with peers and adults is a fundamental skill in the developmental age. In the face of so much interest, however, operators do not always have adequate in-depth tools: the ability to create and manage relationships, in fact, is complex and composed of multiple sub-competences. To be an adequate social partner, in fact, the child must be able to grasp the emotions and thoughts of himself and others, to understand the language in its various facets, to make decisions based on reasoning that involves itself and other people, integrating skills that manifest themselves in different moments of development. The volume brings together a series of instruments - Italian and international - aimed at evaluating just as many specific aspects of children's relational skills, in order to gather a wide range of information related to this interesting subject of investigation. The text is aimed at teachers, educators, child psychologists and all students interested in learning about research and intervention tools that can be applied in the different contexts of life of children.
