Abstract

The Work Values Inventory consists of eleven dimentions, each of which consists of 6 items for a total of 66 questions. Each scale notes the importance attributed to a work value. Questions are phrased as statements about goals of professional experience that may be important for those who perform or held a job, and all of them constitute the conclusion of the statement "For me it is and will be important, in my profession present or future , ... ". The subject is asked to express the degree to which each statement is considered important to him. Although the manual overs psychometric and normative references for students only, under construction has also been tested on a sample of workers, demonstrating the existence of good quality even with this type of use. The instrument measures the importance attributed to the following eleven value orientations: Result, Relationship, Advancement, Leadership, Compensation, Self Improvement, Innovation, Variety, Responsibility, Mobility, Physical Activity.
