Introduzione allo special issue su moralità e psicologia sociale: percorsi di ricerca e direzioni future

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contributions presented in this issue of In-Mind offer a synthetic but also clear and updated picture of the main research directions towards which psychosocial studies on morality are being addressed. While morality has been at the center of attention in developmental psychology and reasoning for some time, the interest of social psychology for this theme is relatively recent. Interest that in a short time was able to offer some stimulating interpretations. In different ways, all the contributions highlight the importance of the dimension of morality in people's perceptions and choices. They also show that while morality is deeply rooted in the individual, it is profoundly conditioned by society. Finally, they indicate a series of research paths that, if further developed, can significantly contribute to fully understand the dynamics of rooting, but also of change, of one's beliefs and moral behavior.
