Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay examines Tesauro's latest tragedy, the Ermegildo, which highlights the relationship with the avantesti, the fundamental theme of the protagonist's innocence, the passage that is implemented in it by the martyrological drama to the Christian tragedy. Finally, he proposes to read the Ermegildo as a tragedy of interpretation, which stages the problem of the link between being and the word, between ontology and linguistics and the drama, related to it, of the relationship between the true and false.
