[Autom. eng. transl.] The title of the volume, The Transition Enterprise, designates the difficult challenge of combining economic progress and environmental protection, the present and future of human civilization, through the formation of human capital and the governance of complex transformations in the geopolitical and scientific-technological fields. The path of ecological transition presupposes recognizing an intangible and non-negotiable value to education, throughout life; it requires taking care of relationships, in the awareness of human fragility; it implies learning, in every context and work activity, planetary citizenship to respect and share the Earth's resources.
