Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay presents the heuristic perspective assumed by the volume, namely that of collective school memory, illustrating its origins in the context of cultural history, its applications in studies on mass communication and above all the developments in historical-scholastic research. These introductory pages thus make it possible to frame the essays contained in the book - which deal with the cinematographic and television representations of the book "Cuore", by Don Milani, some didactic initiatives of Italy in the seventies and Maestro Manzi - to document the potential interpretative studies that, by resorting to sources produced by the large and small screen, aim to document the construction processes of the school imagination.
