Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] A first step towards the reconstruction of the role played by Milan in the decisive moment of the economic boom. The text emphasizes one of the most neglected subjects not only of the Milanese universe in particular but also of the Italian one in general: the myriad of modest artisans who, by putting on their shoulders the very heavy consequences of a world war, started or relaunched the its activities in the Milan of the fifties.
