Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The usefulness of humor is recognized as a tool of cohesion ('social lubricant', according to the recurrent image also in various contributions of the present volume), vehicle for the quality of the bonds, but humor is a complex phenomenon that, if it strengthens the belonging, can also weaken the cohesion of a group or mortify people. The vocation of pedagogy to question the values that favor the living conditions of people and communities in which civic intelligence and social virtues are intertwined, seems to open important spaces for the benefit of humorous reflections and interventions.
