Abstract

The text follows two lines of enquiry. The first one, more immediate and perhaps more accessible, concerns the study of the Italian authors that, because of the value and originality of their doctrine, represent a specific trend in the philosophical thought and are worth of a relevant place in the international landscape. The second perspective, in some ways more complex, refers to the theoretical-historical problem of the existence and consistence of a philosophy that could be defined “Italian”, i.e. the individuation of its distinctive and permanent, or at least durable, features in the philosophical and scientific context of the different ages. The studies here presented intend to answer to this twofold finality, with specific reference to the XX century, a period chosen because of the closeness with the present philosophical reflexion and its richness.
