Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Global civilization requires everyone to orient themselves and train themselves to understand and implement "good actions" for the environment, for every man and for the whole man. It is necessary to cultivate hope and preserve human capital, in order to plan training courses in the perspective of sustainability. The little reassuring situation of the present time requires individuals, companies and institutions to make considered choices that increasingly concern the destiny of man himself, which cannot be separated from that of the environment. To promote a lasting and balanced future, the concept of a fully human development that implies a close reference to the ethical dimension of personal and social life must be valued. The master in "Human development and the environment" of the Catholic University represents an emblematic path of a multidisciplinary approach to environmental issues to train the young generations to a responsible freedom for building future civilizations between tradition and innovation.
