[Autom. eng. transl.] It is erroneous, today, to assert that the balance of the relationship between research and formative practice is in necative. The liveliness of the international scientific debate on the subject and the direct observation of experiences and concrete projects attest that this is not the case. There is a real excitement of reflections, practices, experiences which denote the will to integrate these dimensions fruitfully, for the purpose of improving the school system. In this context, the evaluation research, described in the volume, is part of some training projects promoted by schools, with the aim of detecting their effects on teachers 'teaching practices and therefore on the students' learning process.
