Intercultural Competence in Diversity Management. A Qualitative Research on 3 Italian Companies

Abstract

This paper presents a research centres on the development of an Intercultural Competence reference for corporate Diversity Management. The qualitative research involved 34 managers in three companies in northern Italy. The aim was to identify the key elements of the Intercultural Competence structure and understand how it can be used in business environments to help managers effectively handle diversity in the workplace.
