Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Beyond the sector and the context in which it operates, no educator can be considered a monad. His work inevitably entails relations with professionals with multiform profiles, to whom he must place himself "on equal terms", in order not to be swallowed up in settings that are not pertinent to his own epistemological status. The danger of fragmentation can be averted if the educational professional manages to draw the boundaries of his own action and, therefore, if he can identify and preserve what identifies the specific pedagogical: that is, the care of the whole.
