Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In today's globalized and digitized world, the boundaries that in the past separated places and sectors have been broken, creating open spaces - trans-territorial and trans-sectorial - in which there are many opportunities, but also a lot of confusion. To respond to this changed context, it is increasingly necessary to enable forms of relational intelligence capable of connecting those with skills (knowledge, financial resources, professional skills, ties, machines, material products, etc.) with those who could usefully use those ability to meet your needs or needs. Relational intelligence is, therefore, a connective resource that, in today's global and differentiated supply chains, has more and more value, because the connections between those who offer and those who demand are no longer given or discounted, but must be rethought from time to time and also built remotely, choosing from a variety of possible solutions. It is not easy to do this effectively and with a guaranteed, or at least reliable outcome: this creates the space for cognitive investments and organized structures that make the relational intelligence needed in today's supply chains available. In this volume the researchers of the T-Lab of the CFMT (Tertiary Management Training Center) wanted to address this frontier theme, through the analysis of a series of successful cases in the creative use of relational intelligence in the various forms in which this can decline. What emerges is the prospect of a service economy that - thanks to investment in relational intelligence - builds flexible plots and enables a collective ingenuity, capable of exploiting the growing potential that the complex context in which organizations and individuals move can offer.
