Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] "Integration of schools" refers to the process of bringing together minority students with non-minority students so that there are positive relationships between them, both socially and in terms of learning. The essay examines the results of the survey on a sample of school students sec. of 1 degree that allowed to build the integration index. Integration is procedural (it evolves over time); multidimensional (observed at the economic, social, cultural and political level simultaneously); bidirectional (that is, it depends on the mutual will to approach and welcome native and immigrant citizens). Through the School Integration Index the impact of the typical variables of multi-ethnic schools (consistency of the mixité scolaire; presence of families with disadvantaged socio-economic status; presence / scarcity of didactic support measures; levels of academic performance; social capital of students and relational climate) on the real integration in classes with more than 30% of foreign students.
