Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter of the national Miur-Ismu Foundation report on foreign students in Italy analyzes the transformations of the foreign presence in Italian schools, in the perspective of a comparison between Italians and non-Italians. The distribution in the schools of different order and grade is examined, in the state and non-state schools, the differences of gender and of origin, the concentration on the territories, deepening also the characteristics of the foreign students born in Italy and of the newly placed in the school system .
