Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Designing (or redesigning, or changing) a health organization, especially in a context characterized by scarcity of resources, means searching (first) and finding (then) a delicate balance between the effectiveness and efficiency of the organizational system and its "equity". In the last 20 years the progressive evolution towards “horizontal” organizational models has taken the patient and his needs as a central element in the organization project, favoring the affirmation of the paradigm of the so-called patient centered care. Who (will) be the "actors" who will take responsibility for the effective functioning of these new organizations? What is their role? What is their profile in terms of skills and skills?
