Abstract
An innovative process has been started in the 70’s in Italian schools and it brought all the students that were living on the fringes of society inside regular classrooms. Before this process, students with disability and issues were hidden from the world eyes in special schools, isolated from people consent and, most of all, locked up in institutes.
During those years, a pedagogical revolution was promoted in Italy and it was able to modify the society claiming the right of people with disability to be respected as individual. This revolution could guarantee school inclusion as a constitutional right.
