Indici di rischio e intervento educativo: una proposta di potenziamento linguistico

[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper presents the adaptation to the Italian language of the RAVE-O linguistic enhancement program (Retrivial, Automaticity, Vocabulary Elaboration, Eng. With language, and Ortography) (Wolf, 2009), addressed to children of the second and third grades of the school primary, Italians and foreigners, who in screening activities have highlighted risk indexes with respect to learning written language. Through a cooperative work in small groups, coordinated by an expert, the students experience an active and engaging learning method, in which they practice the analysis of the phonological-orthographic and morphological structure of words, the discovery of syntactic functions and enlargement of semantic networks. Particular emphasis is given to the development of metacognitive skills involved in understanding the text. The data of a first study to verify the effectiveness of the Italian adaptation highlight positive results in understanding, correctness and speed in reading. Furthermore, the methodology of intervention induces positive relapses on the learning process in general, with an increase in motivation and a sense of self-efficacy.
