Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The Edison Foundation Index in the first half of 2013 shows an increase in exports of + 5.2%, thanks above all to the dynamics of exports to non-EU 27 countries (+ 8.4%), while sales in the EU countries they are affected by the still unfavorable economic situation, with a more limited growth of + 2.5%. All sectors appear to be growing, driven by Hi-tech products (+ 17.1%) and, subsequently, by Food-wines (+ 9.1%), Automation-mechanical-rubber-plastic and Abbi - fashion-sector (both + 2.6%), Home Furnishings (+ 1.9%). From a geographical point of view, the 8 districts of the South and Islands are the ones that have achieved the greatest growth, equal to + 17.4% trend, followed by the 22 districts of the Center, whose exports are in progress of + 10.3%.
