Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] For each area of performance measurement and evaluation identified by Legislative Decree 150 of 2009, the chapter sets out the results of the analyzes carried out on the central administrations of the selection of countries considered in the Volume. Starting from the in-depth analysis carried out on the indicators used in the documents of the United Kingdom, United States of America, France and Germany, some indicators in use are then highlighted in special boxes, accompanied by the respective values referring to the year 2009 The lists of indicators presented below certainly do not exhaust the possible options but provide useful insights for the elaboration by the Italian central administrations of indicators referring to the various areas. At the end of each paragraph, a generalization of the indicators is also proposed which looks beyond the three administrations taken into consideration and provides a reference selection for the development of the system for measuring and evaluating the organizational performance of central administrations.
