Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume collects the theoretical and operational contributions born during the realization of the analogous project, financed by the announcement issued by the Ministry of the Interior, Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration, with reference to what is defined by the Council of the European Union with the establishment in June 2007 of the European Integration Fund for third-country nationals. The IncontrArti project, promoted by the Brescia Migrants Reception Cooperative in collaboration between several partners, both public and private social, operating in the Brescia area and province - Parrocchia SS. Salvatore di Breno; ADL Zavidovici Onlus; Esine Comprehensive Institute; Rovato Comprehensive School; Capirola di Leno Higher Institute; Municipality of Rovato; CUT Theatrical University Center of the Catholic University of Brescia and the Briganti di Brescia Social Theater Group - faces the challenge of innovating intercultural dynamics, proposing experiences in which, through the practice of performing arts, moments of cultural co-creation are developed, strongly participatory and capable of promoting individuals and groups and their needs to be actors and authors of local culture. The experience of performance, body language, dance, music, theater have been used to break down the communication walls caused by linguistic distances and distrust towards otherness, to promote recognition and appreciation of the diversity inherent in each of us and to experience the possibility of building art and culture through the encounter with the other.
